ALERT: The Wallace Global Fund has recently learned that its name is being used in connection with a scheme in which individuals in several countries have been informed that they are the beneficiaries of a financial award worth a large amount of money. The scheme appears to be a fraud. Upon provision of personal information, the individuals have been requested to make a series of payments before they are able to receive the award, which is never paid. Wallace Global Fund has not authorized the use of its name in connection with this scheme, has no other involvement in the scheme, and is not responsible for any representations made in connection with the scheme. Wallace Global Fund urges that anyone who receives such an e-mail notice under no circumstances send any payment, but instead promptly report it to their appropriate national authorities.
